- INSTALLATION:
-
- With the above files in a directory on the hard drive (e.g.,
- C:\COMM\DOWNLOAD), start Windows, and from the Windows Program
- Manager select File, then Run...
-
- In the Command Line box, type in x:\path\SETUP, where x:\path is
- the drive and path where the program is stored, and then click
- on the "OK" button. For example, if installing from the above
- download directory you would type C:\COMM\DOWNLOAD\SETUP and
- then click on "OK".
-
- The installation program then suggests a subdirectory in which to
- place the program and all related files. This subdirectory can be
- changed if desired. It is strongly recommended that a empty sub
- directory be used to facilitate later removal. The subdirectory
- in which the program is to be installed may be the same as the
- one in which the SETUP and program files are stored.
-
- The setup routine will then transfer the program, library, and
- data files to the indicated subdirectory.
-
- The user will then be asked whether or not to create a program
- group and icon for the program. Normally this is answered yes.
-
- At this point the program has been installed and is ready to run.
-
- --------------------------------------------------------
-
- To facilitate removal of the program, all files associated with
- this program (program files, data files, and libraries) are
- placed in the designated subdirectory. No files are created or
- modified outside of the designated directory. The program can be
- totally removed from the system by deleting all files in the
- designated sub directory, deleting the sub directory, deleting
- the program icon from the program group, and deleting the
- program group.
